Woman Made - Oral History Training

A Fantastic inter-generational turn out at our oral history training session which was part of our Woman Made Project celebrating the cultural and creative role of women in Northumberland. Using the oral history archive of Helen Anderson (CEMA Music Traveller/ Northumberland - 1940’s ) as primary source material, volunteers learnt how to prepare for and record oral histories which will form part of an archive documenting the often overlooked social, cultural and political stories of local women.

Amble is a place which embraces stories and Dry Water Arts are very happy to provide training opportunities which will help Amble retain and preserve its particular and distinct history.

Great to welcome new people to Dry Water Arts Centre - a space to MAKE MOVE and MEET
