May & June - What’s Coming Up

May and June are set to be very busy months for our big hearted arts centre. Frances has been away reconnecting with Dry Water associate artists in Italy picking up on plans and ideas that were put on hold due to the pandemic. We will be bringing the ideas and practice and people into our Arts and Community programmes very soon.

Meanwhile here are some of the new and upcoming classes and events….


New - Drawing for Fun

A practical class where we will cover simple drawing projects and exercises that will help you to become familiar with basic drawing techniques. This is a free and is for total beginners.

Mondays - 10.30am to 11.30am Cost: Free

New - Barre Class

We have a new weekly Barre class for you to try out. It’s a fun dynamic class combining elements of ballet barre/yoga/pilates and a few other playful challenges.

Mondays - 6pm to 6.45pm Cost: £6

New - Basic Watercolours

This class covers basic watercolour techniques from scratch. The class is for complete beginners and will include refreshments from 12 to 12.30pm.

Tuesdays - 11am to 12.30pm Cost: £6

The Reading Out Loud Club

A monthly evening gathering where we share words, ideas and thoughts in good company. This month our theme is solidarity/union.

16th May 6pm to 7.30pm Cost: £5 (includes refreshments)

Yoga Yin/Nidra Workshop

Yoga Nidra is a guided form of total relaxation to soothe the nervous system, improve sleep and to promote healing. This two hour long class will include some gentle mindful movement before Paula guides you into a deeper state of rest and release.

Dry Water’s Puffin Kin Programme


28th May - 4th June

We are offering a bumper week of free classes for Amble’s famous Puffin Festival. We hope you will come and join in the Puffin Creative Kin vibe - we would love to see you.
