KINthread
KINthread is a durational performance piece featuring soundscape, film, installation and movement. A moving meditation and contemplation of time, space, memory and imagination.
Moving through community memories of the pandemic and its effects, the dancers seek to transmute and transform the moment. Threads of meaning weave and wend their way through space and time.
A multiplicity of languages speak of the threads of common experience and feeling. You are invited to watch, witness and wonder - to weave your own threads of meanings.
This live physical performance is an in the moment alchemical process combining the words, images and memories shared with us throughout the Kin project. Kinthreads is imbued with the traces of those who have graced us with the presence of their lives and the golden threads of connection which remain…
