A Christmas Message From Dry Water
A Christmas Message From The Dry Water Team We know that this year really has been like no other and that everyone has had to face everyday challenges in so many ways. We wanted to take a moment to be thankful for our community and for the ways in which we have been able to stay connected. This most challenging of times has meant that as an organisation we have had to adapt and find new ways of working and developing and we are extremely grateful for the funds / grants, donations and encouragement that we have received. It has enabled us to support those most in need as well as provide a diverse range of activities and creative invitations to participate. The response to the Amble Festival of Light has been phenomenal with the town lit up with hundreds of beautiful window displays and over 650 people participating in different ways. You can see all of the windows on the website as well as here in a little film. It is also not too late to participate in the Covid Quilt of Connections Project and we hope to develop this further in 2021 information can be found here.
We look forward to 2021 with open hearts and minds and a stronger commitment to connect to our community and to be of service to you. We shall be in touch in January to let you know about our proposed programmes, classes and possibilities in what seems to be an ever changing world! We will always put your safety and well-being first and as 2020 has taught us adaptability is key. We will by spring 2021 have a new upstairs space which will enable us to have an even safer environment for when we are able to open fully again. We will continue to be flexible in our approach - Paula as you know delights in having a flexible body and mind!! We wish you all every good thing and look forward to a brighter 2021
Paula, Frances and Luke
