Create beautiful candle votive covers using batik and inks, a perfect seasonal gift.
You will learn how to use a traditional batik process using hot wax on Japanese paper to create patterns which resist the dye painted on top. Once the paper is dry you will learn how to make it into a set of 2 votives. The Workshop includes materials to make 2 votive covers as well as 2 glass candle holders and candles
The word Votive comes from the concept of making an offering or a wish.
